The Client / Brief

A Nebraska-based bottled water company commissioned Novation to strategize a name, logo, tagline, and brand proposition to help launch a new premium bottled water brand.

Water source: Ogallala Aquifer.

Our Solution

Bottled at the source, the water is untreated and maintains highest quality standards. After an extensive brand discovery and preliminary market research, we proposed the name GUSH. Additionally, a tagline was proposed to strengthen and reinforce the brand: Pureness redefined.

Deliverable

Our logo exploration played with imagery such refreshing ocean backdrops and waves to capture and represent the essence of GUSH, ‘purity.’ We encapsulated this essence in the logo by incorporating a very subtle wave pattern across the ‘u’ and ’s’.

The color palette, visuals and font choices carry a modern, minimal, and refreshing feel conveying the sense that GUSH is “pristine”. The simple nature of the logo lends itself well to being easily reproduced across all media.
